Terms of Service

Last updated: 02.08.2026

1. Who we are, and acceptance

Bearing (youbearing.com) is operated by FOP Nazar Mykhalevych, O. Tumanyana 15A, Kyiv 01001, Ukraine. By using the site or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these Terms.

2. What Bearing is

Bearing is an online self-assessment tool based on the RIASEC/Holland interest framework. It generates a personalised report and a structured 90-day action plan from your answers.

Bearing is an informational and educational tool. It is not professional career counselling, psychological assessment, financial, or legal advice, and its output does not guarantee any particular career, income, or outcome. You remain responsible for your own decisions.

3. Your account

Access uses passwordless "magic link" sign-in sent to your email. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure, since anyone with access to it can sign in to your Bearing account.

4. Subscriptions, billing, and commitment period

  • Bearing begins with a 7-day trial for €3.99, which then continues as a subscription at €14.99 per month.
  • Because Bearing delivers a 90-day action plan designed to be followed over three months, the subscription has an initial minimum term of 3 months from the end of the trial.
  • Payment is processed by Paddle, acting as Merchant of Record — Paddle is the seller of record, handles billing, and applies any VAT.
  • After the initial 3-month term, the subscription continues month to month and can be cancelled at any time with effect from the end of the current billing month. There is no notice period.
  • The trial price, the monthly price, the 3-month minimum term, and the renewal terms are shown to you clearly at checkout before you pay.

5. Cancellation

You can cancel from your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your minimum term (or, after it, at the end of the current month); you keep access until then and are not billed beyond it.

6. Refunds

Our refund terms are set out in the Refund Policy below, which forms part of these Terms.

7. Digital content and your right of withdrawal

Because your report and plan are made available immediately after payment, at checkout you expressly consent to immediate access and acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal for that digital content once it is delivered.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, access it in unauthorised ways, resell or redistribute the report content, or interfere with its operation.

9. Intellectual property

The Bearing name, site, assessment, and report content are our intellectual property. Your personal report is for your own individual use.

10. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service or reliance on its output. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited under applicable law.

11. Changes

We may update the service and these Terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new date.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law of Ukraine.

Refund Policy

Last updated: 02.08.2026

The short version

Your subscription includes a 3-month minimum term, because Bearing is built around a 90-day action plan. During that term the subscription can't be cancelled for a refund; after it, you can cancel with effect from the end of the current month.

1. The trial

Your subscription begins with a 7-day trial for €3.99, giving you immediate access to your full report and plan.

2. Minimum term and monthly subscription

After the trial, the subscription runs at €14.99 per month with an initial minimum term of 3 months.

  • During the 3-month minimum term, the subscription cannot be cancelled early for a refund; you keep full access throughout.
  • After the minimum term, the subscription continues month to month; when you cancel, you keep access to the end of the current month, you are not charged again, and the current month is not refunded, since the service has already been provided for it.

3. Immediate access and the EU right of withdrawal

EU consumers normally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase. Because Bearing delivers your report and plan immediately, by paying for the trial you agree to immediate access and thereby waive your 14-day right of withdrawal for the digital content already delivered to you.

4. If something goes wrong

If the service is faulty or you were charged in error, contact support@youbearing.com and we'll put it right. Nothing in this policy removes your statutory rights as a consumer.

5. Payments and chargebacks

Payments are processed by Paddle as Merchant of Record. Billing questions and receipts are handled through Paddle; refunds we approve are issued via Paddle to your original payment method.
